My Raum Privacy Policy

My Raum (the “App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.

All data created in the App is stored only on your device. It is never sent to or collected by the App’s operator (the “Operator”).

1. Information the App Handles

The App handles the following information on your device to provide its features.

Space Scan Data

• When you scan a space, the App uses the camera and LiDAR sensor through Apple RoomPlan.
• The scan produces the positions and sizes of walls, doors, windows and furniture, and the types of furniture. From this, the App creates a 3D model (USDZ), room structure data and a model image, and saves them in a space card.
• Camera video and photos taken during scanning are not saved.

Location

• If you allow location access and “Save Location” is on in the App settings, the location where you scanned the space (latitude and longitude) is saved with the space card.
• The saved location is used only to show the card on the card’s map side and in the Map tab.
• Even if you do not allow location access or turn off “Save Location”, you can use all other features of the App.

Photos

• For card backgrounds, the App only accesses the photos you pick in the system photo picker. The picked photo is resized and saved in the space card.
• When you save a space card as an image, the App only uses permission to add images to your photo library.

Space Card Content

• Text, place names, dates and other content you add to a space card are saved in the space card.

App Settings

• Settings such as language, appearance, haptic feedback and whether to save location are stored on your device.

2. Information the App Does Not Collect

• The App has no sign-up or sign-in and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or similar information.
• The App does not use advertising, usage analytics or tracking tools, and does not access the advertising identifier.

3. Storage and Retention

• All information is stored only on your device, and the Operator cannot access it.
• Information is kept until you delete a space card or delete the App.
• Deleting the App deletes all space cards saved in the App, and the Operator cannot recover them. However, if you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, App data may be included in that backup.

4. Third Parties and External Services

• The Operator does not provide your information to third parties.
• The map screens use Apple Maps (MapKit). To display a map, map data for the visible area is requested from Apple, and Apple’s privacy policy applies to this.
• When you use the share feature, space card images or 3D model files are sent to the apps or people you choose. Shared files are handled according to the recipient’s policies.

5. Your Choices

• You can delete space cards from the Archive at any time.
• If you turn off “Save Location” in the App settings, location will not be saved in space cards you save afterwards.
• You can change camera, location and photo permissions at any time in the iPhone Settings app.

6. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated policy will be posted in the App through an App update.
