My Day Off (the “App”) respects your privacy. The App handles only the minimum information needed to track your annual leave, and that information never leaves your device.

1. Summary

The App does not send any information to any server. It has no networking functionality at all.
There is no sign-up or login, and the App never asks for identifying details such as your name, email, phone number, or location.
The App contains no advertising, no user tracking, and no third-party analytics.
Everything you enter is stored on your device and is removed when you delete the App.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following on your device only:

Leave allowance: the year and your total number of annual leave days
Work schedule: work start and end times, whether a lunch break applies and its hours, and your working days of the week
Leave records: date, all-day flag, start and end times, title, notes, special-leave flag, used flag, and the time the record was created
App preferences: display language, whether haptics are enabled, and whether you have finished the first-run introduction

The App does not automatically collect any device information or usage history.

3. Where Data Is Stored and How Long It Is Kept

All data is kept in the App’s storage inside your device.
To show your status in the home screen widget, a summary — total, used, planned, and remaining leave hours, plus the date and title of your nearest upcoming leave — is written to a shared container that the App and its widget both use. That container also stays on your device.
Data is kept until you delete it. No third party, including the developer, can access it.

4. Device Permissions

The App uses the following permissions, each only for the feature described:

Notifications: to remind you to confirm whether a leave was actually used once it ends. The App asks for this permission when you choose to enable reminders during the first-run introduction.
Calendar: used for reading only, to load the regional public holiday calendar your device subscribes to. The holiday names and dates are used solely to display holidays on the App’s calendar screen; they are not stored separately or sent anywhere. The App never creates, modifies, or deletes calendar events, and does not read your personal events.

You may decline either permission, or revoke it later. Doing so disables only the related feature (reminders, or holiday display) and leaves the rest of the App fully usable. You can change these permissions at any time in your device’s Settings app.

5. Third Parties and Advertising

The App does not share your information with third parties and does not delegate processing to anyone.
It shows no ads and does not collect advertising identifiers or track you.
It includes no third-party analytics or data-collection SDKs.

6. Your Rights and Deleting Your Data

You can view, edit, and delete your records at any time inside the App.
Leave records can be deleted individually, and your leave and work settings can be changed again from the settings screen.
Deleting the App removes all of its data from your device, including the widget’s shared container.

7. Data Protection

The App’s data is protected by the iOS app sandbox and device encryption. Setting up and safeguarding your device passcode or Face ID remains your responsibility.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them. Because the App collects no personal information at all, no child’s information is ever transmitted anywhere.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the update and its effective date will be described in an App release. The current version is always available in the App under Settings → Privacy Policy.
